One Day: Four Seasons [Haiku]

a full four seasons,
from snow to sweaty t-shirt:
one mountain pass

Born from the Black,
He wormed through the World.
He dove into Death,
Vanishing back into the Black.

on still seas; a perfect view
on sunset's timer

Lizard Limerick

An Eastern Garden Lizard prowling its garden

but aren't you big for this park?"
"I'm afraid you've missed the mark.
I don't live here; I own all of these gardens."

and the body is quiet
and the mind is calm

Mistletoe Limerick

A young man of Vienna was caught off guard
smooched by a stranger beside the churchyard.

Moment Hunting [Lyric Poem]

Seeking perfect moments:

in times of bliss,
in times of pain,
in times of sanity,
and when insane

a divine meal,
a fine strong gin,
the kindest virtue,
a dark age sin

falling into never,
coming out the other side,
landing on one's skates
in the smoothest glide

falling but not crashing,
running but not gasping,
finding but not keeping,
fingers interclasping,

and wishing for nothing more.
