Hard work makes me feel full of aches and filled with pain. So full. So filled.

PROMPT: Trait
What’s the trait you value most about yourself?
The capacity to be perpetually perplexed.
PROMPT: Three Jobs
List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.
Well, I just read Shoji Morimoto’s Rental Person Who Does Nothing, about a job of the same name, and that sounds like a sweet gig. Sorcerer sounds like an exciting career path. Finally, cowbell and tambourine guy sounds great for someone who has no musical talent but who would like to be in a rock-n-roll band.
To recap: 1.) Rental Person Who Does Nothing; 2.) Sorcerer; 3.) Cowbell / Tambourine artist in a rock-n-roll band.
PROMPT: Brands
Unless and until they cut me a check, I have no “association” with any brand.
I believe loyalty to friend, family, and nation can all be great virtues, but loyalty to a corporation is just silly. (They certainly won’t be loyal to you when it conflicts with what is best for the profit margin.)
PROMPT: Do More
Pie eating. I don't mean to be gluttonous about it, but I seldom eat a proper piece of pie. I'd say I get enough dessert, overall, but perhaps need to shift more of the balance of dessert in the direction of pie. Or maybe I just have a momentary hankering for pie, and this is all just meaningless rambles. I do not intend to build a pie-eating action plan, so things will probably remain as they are on the pie-eating front.
PROMPT: Advice
“Never argue with a stupid person. In the end, they’ll still be stupid, and you’ll just be frustrated.”
PROMPT: Energy
Food and air, mostly. Ultimately, the Sun, I suppose.
PROMPT: Favorite Album
Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen
PROMPT: Without Music
Decidedly less funky, and the consolation that I would no longer be caught humming embarrassing earworms, like Sweet Caroline, would be thin.
PROMPT: Celebrate
Well, if someone else is doing fireworks, I’ll go see, but I value my fingers and hearing too much to DIY it. But there is nothing like fireworks on Easter to warm the heart. Or on Arbor Day, or National Salsa Dancing Day (March 11th, mark your calendars. Also, don’t confuse it with National Salsa Day — honoring the spicy condiment on May 1st.) Nothing says holiday like fireworks.
