leaves are falling
throughout the city, &
someone sweeps them up

leaves are falling
throughout the city, &
someone sweeps them up

foggy Fall morning:
one bank is clear, one hazy —
both of one river

the blue sky
reflects upon the river,
and they are one

foggy Autumn day.
wet leaves flutter downward,
in surrender

the world ends
in a wall of white,
beyond the stone wall

two rivers
flow together;
are they two?

a dandelion
stands straight & tall,
daily eroding

one autumn tree
contains all the colors:
spring green to winter ____

the rain falls
straight into the river…
evaporates to sky

the pine forest
catches the low autumn sun,
and i think, pennies.
