Clumsy Kung Fu robots
will become slaughter-bots
in our time.
What they lack in Zen spontaneity
and warrior ethos they will make
up for in speed, power, and
dense metal alloy.
Replaced limbs will make them more
-- not less -- capable fighters.

Or will it only wonder why it is
using its feet as impact weapons
when it has ray-guns?
(It is a little like building a typing pool
of robots... only way, way cooler.)
What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?
At this point, it would need to be something AI / robots won’t possibly be able to do better, faster, cheaper in the near term. This leaves jobs for which one’s humanity is a central part of the job. Unfortunately, I suck at many aspects of being a human. Maybe I’ll become a robot and beat them at their own game.
How would you design the city of the future?
For the robots to rest comfortably over our cold, dead bones.
Worried that Terminator-like robots may kick humanity out its pole position among sentient beings? You can sleep well tonight. A news report today suggests that the Karate Kid’s kicking dominance is not yet under threat by Robo-karateka. In other words, Ralph Macchio can still out kick the state of the art karate robot. The Cobra Kai’s plans to achieve world dominance via a fleet of Karate androids have been thwarted for the time being.
