in pollen like a drunk
sprawls on a bar’s floor.

the sunflower
catches warm afternoon sun,
but bees aren’t impressed.

one butterfly:
with so many eyes
that cannot see.

flowers dip
under a bee’s weight,
but spring back.

twin butterflies
spiral around each other
with spastic gravity.
