What’s your favorite time of day?
Mornings. I’m a lark. It’s when I’m at my highest energy level.
How do you plan your goals?
By the seat of my pants.
It is by no means uninteresting, nor did it require “scouring” (though it probably would have if I was in the US,) but Bangladesh is imploding (PM ouster, protests turn violent, all exacerbated by flooding, etc.,) and we were planning to visit later this year. So, much for that trip.

I’m not traveling, so — at one level of specificity — it could be said to be typical. The flow of my routine is more or less as usual for recent weeks. Then again, at another level of specificity, it could be said to be a day filled with completely unique experiences never before had (precisely as I’m having them) by anyone, anywhere, at any time in the history of the world. I guess I prefer to look at things in the latter way.
Grape leaves flutter
and some catch the light
to glow with translucence.
I'm in an ancient place,
and this is such an ancient
endeavor.
Wine has been the king
of pursuits in these parts
for millennia.
Is that why I can become
lost in the play of light
on quivering leaves?
Or is it just that time of day?
The sun is low -- ready to set --
My mind is slow & ready to drink.
For example: being punched in the face and swimming in open waters.
As for how, to my knowledge there’s only one way to overcome any fear and that’s exposure to the fearful stimulus. e.g. One loses (at least greatly reduces) fear of being hit by sparring.
