nordic summer.
the wee hours look like either
sunrise or sunset
is upon us, and
either way, it's true

the sun sets
as we drift down the river,
past grand temples

the desert sun
sets over the lake, 
and all is gold

sunset flares;
& looks like a fire
on the horizon

autumn afternoon —
the sun dips behind the hill,
faux sunset

through the tree gap
cold mountains glow warm
in the setting sun
