at mangrove’s edge:
a croc, mouth agape.
lazy hunter?

Spider Hide [Senryū]

behind the leaf, 
a spider hides like a fat
kid behind a pole.

Treetop Fall Drop [Haiku]

the treetop leaves
that catch early & late sun
are the first to fall.

All-Seeing [Senryū]

if your mushroom has
an eye, it’s time to stop
eating mushrooms.

Personal Jesus [Senryū]

a plump heron
walks on lily pads: my own
Personal Jesus.

Witch & Skeleton [Free Verse / Senryū]

PREMISE:
Princess Takiyasha
 summoned a skeleton to
  kill a samurai.

MORAL?:
"Don't bring swords
 to a giant skeleton-ghost 
  fight!"

CONCLUSION:
Yet, in settled dust,
