As I recall, these mountains sat near the Willkanuta Mountains. Anyway, they lie somewhere along the road between Cuzco and Puno in the Peruvian Andes.

No, that’s not land. It’s an island made of reeds that’s floating on Lake Titicaca. It’s a pain in the butt to live there because of the long boat commute for school, shopping, errands, or work. However, there’s no property tax because, well… there’s no property.

Pisaq (also spelled “Pisac”) is a site of Incan ruins overlooking the Sacred Valley. The Sacred Valley is the river valley of the Urubamba River, which is also called the Willkanuta. This type of terracing is common around Incan sites.
