I’m not one for favorites; I think it’s a form of experiential laziness. That said, there is music that has particular emotional resonance for me because it’s what was playing where I was when I was when I was younger — mostly rock and indie rock.
What is your favorite genre of music?
I don’t like music by its genre, much to the chagrin of the streaming service that would like to make recommendations but is stumped by the mix of folk, symphonic, rock, instrumental, jazz, international, country, heavy metal and easy listening music that I bounce through.
