clouds top the green hills
and threaten to spill over,
but never do

mid-monsoon.
clouds in the fore race,
against a gray bank

winter clouds
hang thick and low, but -yet-
 the sun burns through

puffy white clouds
seem no less solid 
than gray granite

clouds creep 
as the river glides.
nothing is rushed

clouds rise like smoke 
from turbulent cascades --
ghosts ascending

i can't help but think
