What major historical events do you remember?
From the Iranian Hostage Crisis onward, pretty much all of them — given they were considered “major” in whatever place I was living at the time.

Location, location, location. The world has gotten better with its sharing of information beyond your zip code but my major events have been: The Columbine High School shooting in 1999, I was in school at the time and it really rocked my world. Sally Ride joining NASA and going to space 1983. As a very young girl she was my hero. Kamala Harris being sworn in as the Vice President of the United States in 2021. Some good, some bad, but all memorable.
