What are some life hacks that you practice?

As far as I’ve seen of so-called “life hacks” they seem to mostly be inelegant solutions for problems that either: a.) already have more reliable and tested solutions, or b.) are needlessly complicated / exaggerated to suggest they need a solution when they really don’t. The whole “life hack” industry seems to be people sitting around trying to figure out how to go viral by creating the illusion of cleverness. It is not Wú Wéi.

Not practicing Taoism I can only gather that ‘inactivity’ is what you meant? After seeing individuals all around the globe doing WILD things to be different, I don’t know what the next ‘fad’ will be. You-fly-shoes?

What I was getting at is that the whole endeavor has become forced, contrived. There is a hypocritical element to it in that these lifehacks pretend to be simple ways to streamline life, but — at this point — they are anything but. I don’t think it all started that way. I suspect it started with earnest people putting out genuinely simplifying techniques into the world, and then it morphed into a “lifehack industrial complex” that started pumping out ideas that were far from minimalist, but were rather ridiculously overcomplicated and which often started by inventing a problem for which to make a solution.

Thanks for clarification. One% I agree. If you get a minute, follow our blog, specifically our last experiential trek of Mount Nemrut, A UNICEF site (inTurkiye, near Iranian Border) will knock your socks off. You’ll be surrounded by 2010-year-old tumulus site with sculpture heads of emperors, Greek, Persian Gods. Cheers!
