Worst: Hippopotami, African Elephants, the Black Mamba, Right Whales, Pumas, Condors, Puffer Fish, Howler Monkeys, Rhinoceroses, Hammerhead Sharks, Lowland Gorillas, Geese, Cape Buffalo, Galapagos Tortoise, Bengal Tigers, Pronghorn Antelope… , and anything else that some jackass builds a house-sized chain-link fence cage in his backyard to “keep.”
Tiger Riding for Beginners 
You omitted the mighty chimpanzee — much more dangerous than a gorilla because it’s much more aggressive. Numerous zoo personnel that I consulted over decades told me that the chimpanzee was the scariest animal in the zoo.
But, as always, I agree with your general point, Bernie. Wild animals that need wide open spaces should not be pets.
