There was a clumsy tourist in Cebu
who broke Magellan's Cross, and sought wood glue.
"Oh, don't worry, son!
That's not the first one.
The original was lost... and was already broken, too."

  1. Poor Magellan. He was given credit for being the first to circumnavigate the globe, but it was his crew who made it all the way around the world. He died in the Philippines from a poison arrow to his heel. Sometimes the symbolic becomes more important than the actual.
