I like haiku but I wouldn’t understand how to create one, first of all, you have the order that the words and syllables go. But, like all things good, I can be taught. 🙂

If you can find a copy of “The Haiku Handbook” by William J. Higginson, I’d highly recommend it. It’s one stop shopping for understanding haiku in both traditional and modern forms as well as the unique elements of English language / American Haiku forms. But, I don’t know whether it’s still in print.
