Miscellaneous Haiku

shaggy yak
in Himalaya high
gallops carefree

desert skies
painted impossible hues
scrub and sand

moth wing eyes
so very convincing
owl or “seeing tree”

calm seas
don’t draw sailors
storms do

monkey moments
that mirrored pond,
reflecting us
