Yes. Rendlesham Forest was out the back gate. It was before my time, and I have no firsthand knowledge of what was or wasn’t seen. I do know that the fog played wild with light in that area — sometimes like a solid object, sometimes spreading it out, but often layered. It could be a creepy place.
I do. They refused to believe that the tactical nukes that had been stored at Woodbridge in the 70’s were long gone, and the munitions storage area that once held them was downgraded and held only small arms ammo for the PJs. So we had our share, despite being a small detachment base.
Is that the one the UFO landed at? That story is crazy!
