  1. Very nice engineering. Most of the temples I see in (pictures from) India have more color though. It’s an interesting contrast.

    BTW… Star Wars: The Old Republic stole the term Jagannath to refer to points earned for hunting worthy prey in the Transdosian (the reptilian race that Boosk was a member of) religion.

    • So, the South Indian / Tamil style temples (which now exist all over the country, but originated in the south) are usually the ones that have brightly and elaborately painted gates and towers. I think they’ve spread around because it’s so popular hear to dial the sensory experience to 11.

      I didn’t know that, but was aware that’s where the English term juggernaut comes from.
