    It reminds me of my recent visit to The Temple of the Recumbent Buddha situated in a cave atop Yunya mountain. It was a solo trip, and as I stood amongst the twelve buddhas surrounding him, it seemed my entire being was bathed in nirvana. At 54 tons, he’s the biggest recumbent Buddha in China and has been perfectly kept in a bronze state since construction. You wouldn’t know it from my photos though because in all of them he’s gold.
