Why they do it?
Obviously, here it’s just for entertainment value. As far as I know, like other cultures with a firewalking tradition, it’s used to show bravado and battle-readiness. Of course, in the old days there was a spiritual component in that people believed that their spirit or will or piety could keep them from being burned.
