Do you vote in political elections?
Not as religiously as I did in my youth. Counter to the general trend of younger people hollering and protesting but not showing up to the polls, and thus not influencing change because politicians are cued into to the older crowd that tends to show up hell or high water.

If I’m not wrong you are or were in Bangalore recently right? We have elections going on right now in India and I have to say I still don’t have my voter ID issued to me despite having applied for it months ago. Our elections are most definitely rigged so my faith in democracy has hindered. But our people are resilient so I guess we will see what happens. Even if I want to vote I don’t think I will be able to.

Yes, I’ve lived in BLR for a while now. A large part of my falling off is that I have to absentee ballot vote, which is a bit of a pain, requiring forethought and planning.

They probably don’t want you to vote anyway. Not with the new “technology” they have.
