I tried to look up what this plant was called, but had no luck–despite its distinctive shape. We saw it in the Coorgi rainforest. As you can see it looks like a blueberry attached to a five-petaled orange flower.

i am no horticultural expert, but that looks to be the fruit of a Harlequin Glorybower… (Clerodendrum trichotomum) <–I had to google that… 🙂 Personal, starfish blueberry flower is way more catchy! Lovely blog, btw. I am so enjoying my tour of Coorg in pictures.

The flower is lovely. Was the flower a random spot or it was abundant?

That was the sole flower on that vine. They weren’t abundant at the time we visited (late March.)
