They are all nonconformist in some sense. Some might say Kusunoki Masashige is the least nonconformist, being an exemplar of samurai loyalty, but as a strategist he was a brilliant outside-the-box thinker.
No, I’m not really good with coming up with favorites as they are – to me – always ephemeral. Voltaire is the one I’ve most taken an interest in lately, but all is impermanent.
