I donβt know anything about it, but Iβve never heard of any precedent for any kind of hidden structures in India. There are, of course, caves carved into mountains (most famously in Maharashtra- Ajanta & Ellora) but those would be readily discovered / indentified because they are elaborate and take a chunk out of the facade.)
