The color scheme is what threw me. Sacramento, where I used to live, had 5 or so Sikh temples in the greater metro area. All had similar color schemes and sort of similar architecture.
Doesn’t mean the internet is wrong though. Occasionally it gets things correct. 😀
Yes. Knowing India, it was either done masterfully — meticulously using age-old technique — or with a rickety scaffolding that many workers fell off of or through. Not a lot in the middle ground in the realm of manual labor.

Surprisingly, Hindu. (At least according to the internet. Neither the shape nor color scheme makes it a typical specimen, by any means.)

It must have been painted recently. When I was looking it up online, it was all bare stone and looked more like ruins than a functioning temple.
