1. I went to Varkala in February too and it was beautiful! Stayed in Kerala which had so much wildlife and scenery nearby, one of the best parts of India for me!

2. I think the top one is a Yellow Elder, the lower one is Bougainvillea. My kind of scenery!

   • You’re probably right. I’m a neophyte on the topic. Actually, I’m positive you’re right about the Bouganvillea, because that’s an extremely common variety throughout South India.
